Southampton winger Sofiane Boufal is reportedly a summer target for Serie A giants Roma.
The Moroccan international has been training with Saints’ Under-23 squad in recent times following an alleged bust-up with manager Mark Hughes, who claimed that Boufal had “made a mistake”.
Having signed for £16m in the summer of 2016, Boufal has not fulfilled his potential on the South Coast and it seems that regardless of which division the club is in next season, he is headed for the exit door.

Italian news source Calciomercato claim that Inter Milan and OGC Nice are keen, which has previously been reported, but also state that Champions League semi-finalists Roma are pondering a move for the player.
Boufal has scored two goals for Saints in what has been a frustrating season for the player, but it seems his nightmare tenure at St Mary’s Stadium could come to an abrupt end in the summer.
