Southampton playmaker Dusan Tadic has spoken of how he hopes Mark Hughes remains at the club beyond the end of the season, as reported by the Guardian.
The Welshman was appointed on an interim basis in March and secured his first Premier League win as Saints boss on Saturday, as the team defeated Bournemouth 2-1.
Southampton remain one point away from escaping the relegation zone but it seems the players have full faith in Hughes as he bids to lead the club away from danger.

Tadic, who netted both of Saints’ goals in their win over the Cherries, has been praising Hughes and expressing his desire to see the experienced boss pen a new deal with the club.
I think he needs to stay in Southampton because he is a great coach and he’s a coach for Southampton – everyone can see that.
It would be great for Southampton if he stayed. The most important thing now is that we stay in the league but he’s great for Southampton.
The Serbian international also went into detail about what Hughes and his coaching staff have changed following the departure of Mauricio Pellegrino.

When the new coach and his assistants came we did great in the training sessions, we touched the ball more, we felt immediately sharper. I feel sharper myself. For this we need to say thank you to them because they put a lot of great training on the pitch, every time; passing drills, possession, games.
Everything is short and sharp and you can see that the whole team is looking sharper and quicker. He’s made a big difference. He’s a great coach and he was a great player. He’s a good guy and I think his assistants, Mark [Bowen] and Eddie [Niedzwiecki], they are great and they are helping us every day with advice.
Tadic and Hughes will both aim to play their part in helping Saints achieve maximum points in the final three games of the season, with survival the only goal.
