Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has lavished praise on Southampton ahead of the two sides’ encounter on Saturday afternoon.
Saints will be desperate to secure a vital three points when the Cherries come to town and it seems their manager, Howe, is well aware of the quality that his counterparts possess.
Speaking ahead of the match, as quoted by Reuters, Howe was quick to hail Southampton as a “talented” group of players.
Southampton are a very talented group of players and they have quality in all areas. They can give you a really difficult game and we’re aware of that. We came very close to beating them (Southampton) there last year. We’re taking some really good away support and I know they’ll be vocal.

Saints are currently sat in 18th place on the Premier League table and have won just one top-flight game since February. With four points separating them and 17th place, they’ll know that only a win will do against their fellow South Coast outfit.
Howe also took it upon himself to single out Saints forward Charlie Austin for praise.
Charlie (Austin) is a talented player and goalscorer and someone we’ll have to be well prepared for.
Bournemouth are all but safe, however, and head into the game with little pressure on them. Although, they will be hoping to put another nail in Saints’ coffin when they make the short trip to St Mary’s.
