Southampton will face Fulham away from home in the third round of the FA Cup, with the fixtures set to be played between the 5th-8th January.

Saints will be hoping to progress further than they did last season, as they were eliminated early on.

Claude Puel’s Southampton side drew their third round fixture initially, with Norwich equalising to make it 2-2 late on at Carrow Road. However, back at St Mary’s, Saints were able to narrowly progress through a scrappy Shane Long goal.

They then faced Arsenal at home in the following round. It was a game to forget for one and all, as Saints succumbed to a 5-0 defeat at St Mary’s with a much-changed line-up.

Fulham have endured a difficult season so far following their success last season, with Slavisa Jokanovic’s men struggling to find form.

However, they are sure to present a difficult test for Saints, who will look to impress at Craven Cottage.
