Southampton play host to West Brom on Saturday at St. Mary’s as they look to build on their draw with Newcastle.
The Saints picked up a point against the newly-promoted side last Sunday, drawing 2-2.
Manolo Gabbiadini scored a second-half brace – with one from the penalty spot – to secure a point for Southampton.
Mauricio Pellegrino had plenty to ponder after the match, following some questionable defending and lack of attacking threat for the majority of the game.
Goals have been hard to come by this season for Southampton. They have scored in two of their six home matches in all competitions, giving West Brom hope coming into the game.
West Brom are one point and one place above Southampton in the table as it stands, with a win for Southampton set to take them back into the top ten of the Premier League.
