Southampton have scored in three of their eight games in all competitions this season.

That is simply not good enough for a team with European aspirations. The Saints have only scored against West Ham, Crystal Palace and Stoke.

Manolo Gabbiadini, Shane Long and Charlie Austin have two goals between them this season, with Austin’s goal being a penalty against West Ham.

Southampton face Newcastle next Sunday and Mauricio Pellegrino needs something to change up front.
