Southampton’s interest in Galatasaray winger Bruma was confirmed a few weeks back by the player’s agent, but it looks as though Napoli have made the first move in the race to sign him.

According to a report from AMK out in Turkey, as cited by Turkish Football, Napoli are readying an £8m offer to buy Bruma this summer.

It’s claimed that Manchester United’s scouts were in attendance on Sunday to watch the former Portugal Under-21 international in action for his side, but any other potential suitors for Bruma will need to act fast if Napoli are to pursue their interest.

Saints could do with some more attacking inspiration and Bruma certainly possesses a lot of quality, troubling defences with his pace and direct nature.

Leicester are also showing an interest in the young wide man, according to his agent, but Bruma is sure to have plenty of attractive offers on the table this summer if Galatasaray do choose to let him go.

Southampton and Leicester City have registered an interest and we have held talks. Bruma is keen on the Premier League and we will be holding further talks next month (this month).
