Southampton will be hoping to pull of a shock result on Sunday when they travel to White Hart Lane, taking on a Tottenham Hotspur side in very good form.
Spurs have been superb at home this season and are certainly the favourites heading into the game but Saints will fancy their chances having won their last two Premier League games, both on the road, against Sunderland and Watford.
Both teams have strikers that are bang in form, with Harry Kane enjoying yet another superb season up top for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, and with Manolo Gabbiadini getting off to a thunderous start to life on the south coast, with six goals in his first four games in all competitions. However, Kane is ruled out for this one, potentially providing Saints with a big boost.
Claude Puel’s men fell to a 4-1 thumping in the reverse fixture at St Mary’s back in December, so they’ll be looking to avoid a repeat score line and will hope to come away with something to show for themselves.
Here are five things that we can expect to see happen on Sunday.
Spurs to miss Kane
The injury to Harry Kane will be a big blow to Spurs and the way in which they play. They’ll be forced to play flop Vincent Janssen up front or use Heung-min Son as a makeshift centre forward. Saints should be boosted by this given his unbelievable form this season.
Redmond to cause Spurs problems
Redmond has been excellent in the last few games and will definitely fancy his chances. He’ll be out to impress with England manager Gareth Southgate almost certain to be watching, and I’ve got a feeling he’ll have a good game.
Puel to name an unchanged side yet again
Claude Puel has named exactly the same side as he did in the EFL Cup final against Manchester United for two games in a row now against Sunderland and Watford. I see no reason for that to change.
Whilst I’d like to see Martin Caceres, Mouez Hassen and potentially even Sofiane Boufal come in, I think Puel will stick to a winning formula, and fair play to him if he does.
Walker against Bertrand being the key battle
The two England internationals are going to have a brilliant contest up and down the flank providing Walker is passed fit, and I’m looking forward to seeing who comes out on top. I think it’ll be a key battle in the match, with both players capable of influencing the game in defence and attack.
Tadic to have a tricky time
Tadic was sublime against Watford and has all the ability in the world, but I can just see him getting marked out of the game. The physical presence and defensively-minded nature of Spurs’ midfielders will likely pin him down a bit and restrict his creative quality.
