The agent of Southampton target Manolo Gabbiadini has confirmed that his client is set to join a club in either the Bundesliga or the Premier League this January.
West Brom and Leicester are also thought to be interested in the 25-year-old, while struggling Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg also hold an interest.
As reported by Italian outlet Sport Mediaset, Silvio Pagliari, the player’s agent, confirmed that he could move to either the Bundesliga or the Premier League in the January transfer window.
Speaking to Italian radio station Radio Onda Libera, Pagliari said:
For Gabbiadini, revamp everything at best next week. Now the decision was taken in agreement with Napoli.
The agent continued by adding:
If I see him better in the Bundesliga or the Premier League? He will go in one of two leagues. He has strength, power, technique can stand very well in both contexts.
West Brom had been linked with a move for the attacker, as they look to build upon their impressive start to the season. The Baggies currently sit eighth in the Premier League.
Gabbiadini joined Napoli in 2015 but has failed to live up to expectation in Naples. The 25-year-old currently has six international caps for his native Italy but has since fallen out of contention following his poor spell with Napoli.
