Southampton are plotting a move for AC Milan midfielder Keisuke Honda, according to TalkSport.
The report claims that Southampton have renewed interest in Honda following summer interest.
The Saints were keeping an eye on Honda last summer but decided against a move. However, they now look ready to finally make an attempt to lure the creative midfielder to England.
Honda has started one match in the Serie A this season for Milan and they are thought to be willing to let him leave.

This will come as good news to Southampton, who will be able to procure the Japanese international with little resistance from the Italian giants.
There is, however, competition for his signature. Fellow Premier League side Watford are also keeping close tabs on Honda.
Watford are looking to strengthen their squad this month and also see Honda as a realistic target.
The 30-year-old has scored 36 times in 82 international appearances for his country.
