Southampton have confirmed on their official website this morning who will be travelling to Italy for their Europa League clash against Inter Milan tomorrow night.

It comes as no surprise to see a few players left back at home. The likes of Ryan Bertrand, Cedric Soares, Matt Targett and Jeremy Pied have all been left behind as they continue to work on their recoveries from injury.

However, an encouraging sign for Saints fans is the inclusion of club-record signing Sofiane Boufal in the 21-man squad, indicating that he could be in line to play some part in the fixture.

One surprise exclusion is Nathan Redmond though, who appeared to be struggling a little bit at the end of the Burnley game through what looks to be a knock.

It’s certainly a strong squad, with key players included as well as youth players to have a healthy mix for what is sure to be a momentous occasion for everyone associated with Southampton.

Here is the 21-man squad:

Goalkeepers – Fraser Forster, Stuart Taylor, Alex McCarthy

Defenders – Cuco Martina, José Fonte, Jack Stephens, Maya Yoshida, Virgil van Dijk, Sam McQueen

Midfielders – Harrison Reed, Jordy Clasie, James Ward-Prowse, Oriol Romeu, Steven Davis, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Dusan Tadic

Attackers – Sofiane Boufal, Olufela Olomola, Shane Long, Charlie Austin, Jay Rodriguez
