Saints linked with Lille right-back
According to a recent report from the printed version of L’Equipe, also reported by Sky Sports journalist Guglielmo Cannavale, Southampton are exploring the possibilities of making a move for promising Lille right-back Djibril Sidibe.

The 23-year-old defender is able to play at right-back and at left-back, making him the ideal signing for Southampton this summer.
Although Sidibe has been very much a promising player across the years out in France, he has only really made his mark in the last season and has cemented his place in the first team on the right hand side of defence.
The signing of Sidibe would be an extremely attractive prospect to Southampton as they look to bolster their squad ahead of a bust season, starting in just a couple months time, and will look to add depth to their squad.
Although Sidibe has not yet appeared at international level for France in their senior team, he was one of the names put on standby for their Euro 2016 squad, showing that he is not far away from being of that standard.
Southampton are also shown to be linked with Sidibe’s teammate Sofiane Boufal, but they face plenty of competition from elsewhere for his services, including Chelsea.
