David Moyes is the early favourite to succeed Ronald Koeman when his proposed move to Everton is unveiled, reports The Daily Echo.
The Echo have reported that Moyes is the Bookmakers early favourite as short as 8/1, closely followed by Mark Hughes and Manuel Pellegrini.
Moyes is currently without a job having left Real Sociedad in La Liga, which means the process of bringing him into the job could be quicker than other targets. Southampton are keen to make a replacement quickly, with summer plans for transfers needing sorting out.

David Moyes spent 11 years managing Everton, accruing a superb reputation in England as a solid manager. However, he flopped after a move to Manchester United, being sacked in under a year. Although, he did have a very hard job of replacing long-term manager Sir Alex Ferguson at the helm.
So, nothing is set in stone so far, but Moyes does look like the early favourite, assuming Koeman’s move goes through.
