According to The Daily Mail, Southampton are eyeing Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Southampton are thought to be very keen on a summer move for the prolific Lyon striker but face competition from other Premier League sides. West Ham and Stoke have also been credited with interest in the forward and could challenge Southampton for his signature.
The 24-year-old rejected Newcastle in January after they had a £22m bid accepted for the goalscorer. This means that Southampton could get their man if they are willing to spend £22m.
The striker has scored 15 goals this season and managed a very impressive haul of 31 goals last season for Lyon. The signing would be a huge signal of intent from Ronald Koeman and Southampton and would smash the current transfer record at the club.
However, there are a number of clubs, as previously stated, looking at the French international and it will be an interesting summer to see where he ends up.
