Southampton will be highly excited at the prospect of returning to Premier League football this weekend as they welcome the league’s reigning champions Chelsea to St Mary’s.
After a small break from action, Saints will be hoping to make it seven games unbeaten, as well as the possibility of keeping seven consecutive clean sheets.
However, they know fully well that it is going to be a tough ask of them as they take on Guus Hiddink’s revitalised Blues, who have not lost a league game since his return to the club.
Saints head into the game with no fresh injury concerns, but will be boosted by the return to full training from duo Jay Rodriguez and Florin Gardos after long-term lay-offs.
Here is how I feel as though Saints will line up against Chelsea.
