Long term Southampton target Charlie Austin is looking all set to complete a move to Southampton in the coming days after successfully completing a medical ahead of a £4 million move to the club.
Austin, who has been touted for a move to the Premier League since last season, fits boss Ronald Koeman’s desired January move regarding a new striker that can score goals and give another outlet to his team.
It is widely expected that Austin is to be announced as a Southampton player in the coming days, potentially in time for their huge clash away at Manchester United.

Austin’s contract comes to a close in the summer, so Saints have managed to come away with a bargain deal for one of the most sought after forwards in English football.
With striking options such as Jay Rodriguez, Graziano Pelle, Shane Long, Sadio Mane and now potentially Charlie Austin, the season is looking up for the Saints.
